About The Program

The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®) for Teens is an evidence-based social skills intervention for motivated teens (14-weeks) and young adults (10-weeks) to help them make friends and maintain friendships. During each 90-minute weekly group session, participants are taught essential communication skills and are given the opportunity to practice with peers. On the next day, parents/caregivers attend 60-minute sessions on Zoom and are taught how to assist their teens/young adults to expand their social network and to provide feedback through coaching during weekly socialization homework assignments.
