About The PreSchooler Program

We are thrilled to introduce PEERS® for Preschoolers, an evidence-based social skills program now available at Boston PEERS®! Designed for children ages 4–6, The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®) helps young learners develop the foundational social-emotional skills needed for successful peer relationships in early childhood and beyond.

PEERS® for Preschoolers is a parent-assisted, play-based intervention that teaches children essential social behaviors. Through structured play, modeling, puppet show lessons, and guided practice, preschoolers engage in fun, interactive activities that support the development of friendship skills in a nurturing environment.

This 14-week program is led by licensed clinicians trained in the PEERS® curriculum. During each 90-minute weekly group session, children learn essential communication skills and practice with peers. On the next day, parents/caregivers attend 60-minute sessions on Zoom and are taught the same skills to help expand their child’s social network and provide feedback through coaching and weekly homework assignments.

If you're interested in learning whether this program is a good fit for your child, we offer a free 20-minute zoom consultation.

Help your child build the confidence and skills to connect with peers through meaningful play. Contact us today to learn more!
